Vice President, Spray Elastomers, Accella Polyurethane Systems
Scooter De Laune is Vice President of the Spray Elastomers Division for Accella Polyurethane Systems. He oversees day-to-day operations, strategic growth and business development for the Bullet Liner spray-on truck bed liner brand. Prior to 2015, when Accella Performance Materials acquired Bullet Liner, Scooter was President of Burtin Polymer Laboratories (which, at the time, owned and operated the company under the name of Bullet Liner Protective Coatings). While at Burtin, he played an integral role in helping to develop and grow the entire severe duty coatings category. From 1999 to 2007, Scooter served as Executive Vice President of Line-X Corporation—and before that, from 1995 to 1999, he was President and Founder of Advanced Urethane Systems. Prior to working in the elastomers space and helping to pioneer the polyurea technology marketplace, Scooter was a warfare and weapons transport specialist in the United States Navy, where he also served as a C-130 Flight Engineer.
