Chemical Protection Performance
Chemical Resistance Testing is utilized for evaluating the resistance of coatings to various test fluids. One of the most important evaluation methods for coatings is simply determining if they will be able to withstand the environment they may encounter during service.
Chemical resistance assesses the ability of a protective coating to resist degradation by chemicals before they are placed in service. The Bullet Liner specimens were submerged into commonly used chemicals to test the physical properties after 30 days, 6 months, and 1 year.
